Orioles ML -112
These aren’t the same Orioles from the previous two years. They are playing some great ball. Howard goes for Texas and he hasn’t started since April. Historically, he gives up runs in bunches. Voth pitches for Baltimore and while he doesn’t go deep into games, he limits damage. Baltimore’s bullpen is quietly underrated on the back end.
Royals/Astros o8 -127
Greinke faces his old club and he has been superb of late. He’s allowed only 2 ER in has last 12 IP. Garcia goes for Houston. He faced KC back in June and tossed 7 innings and gave up 2 ER. Everything points to the under but the money in Vegas has come in on the over. I think Greinke implodes tonight and KC plates a few runs themselves. They are 8th in OPS in the last 7 days.
Brewers ML -136
Kyle Hendricks has turned the corner it seems. He has allowed just 2 ER in his last 13 IP. However, in 14 IP this year vs Milwaukee, he has given up 10 ER. Alexander goes for the Brew Crew and he went 7 innings with 2 ER vs Chicago earlier this year. I’ll play the data and go with Milwaukee here.
Blue Jays -1.5 -103
Toronto’s bats have been non existent the last four games. It’s hard to keep an offense like theirs down for too long. Martinez goes for Oakland and he has 2 starts in his young career. 1 start was scoreless and the other he allowed 7 ER. Kikuchi was better in his last start and he pitches well lifetime vs the A’s. Jays wake up here and end their mini slide.
Rockies/Dodgers o8.5 -110
Colorado seems to be the Dodgers’ kryptonite this year. Marquez goes for the Rockies and he was tagged for 5 ER in his last vs these same Dodgers. His lifetime numbers against LAD are also a mixed bag. White goes for the Dodgers and he typically gets tagged for two or three runs. He doesn’t go deep into games as well. I think these two divisional foes put some runs on the board on tonight.
Cardinals ML +126
Bonus MLB Picks
This is strictly a value/price play. Anderson pitches for Atlanta and he was absolutely rocked in his last start. His numbers aren’t the greatest this year as his ERA is above 5. Pallante goes for the Birds and he has pitched solid. I will take a talented lineup at this price against a pitcher who is struggling.
