The Best Fantasy Football Players At Each Position For 2023

The Best fantasy football players for 2023

The NFL is wild. Between injuries, suspensions, and mid-season trades, predicting the best fantasy football players each year is always a challenge. But it’s also a lot of fun. The purpose of this article is to select the fantasy football players who I think will finish at the top of their position rankings.

I consider several factors: age and injury history, anticipated usage, time on the field, offensive yards per game, and points per game. Simple, right? Probably not, but if there was a spot to bet on this, these would be my picks. Oh wait, there is. Check out BetMGM and Mybookie for a $1000 welcome bonus.

The Best Players For Fantasy Football

Running Back

Bijan Robinson- Atlanta Falcons

Nope, this isn’t a dynasty league article; it’s specifically tailored for traditional re-draft fantasy leagues.
My thought process is simple, last year, rookie Tyler Allgeier rushed for 1,032 yards for the Falcons. Despite this, the Falcons still used their 8th overall pick on Robinson. Why? Because he is just that good.

So why is he one of the best fantasy football players? Let’s look at how he performed in college. Robinson rushed for 3,410 yards in three seasons at Texas, averaging 6.3 yards per carry. I’ve talked about their offensive line expectations before, and this is another reason why Robinson could flourish.

At Texas, he didn’t have an overpowering offensive line but that didn’t matter. The young running back constantly made defenders miss and used his raw power to plow through anyone who got in his way. A workhorse running back is a great asset to have on your fantasy team. The combination of his unique skill set and the amount of touches is why I anticipate him being an easy pick for the best fantasy football players in 2023.

Best WR To Draft For Fantasy Football

Tyreek Hill– Miami Dolphins

Ranked top 5 by most fantasy experts, it’s no surprise that Hill has the potential to be the top receiver this season. He demanded 170 targets last season while showcasing his big-play ability. Although he ranked just 40th in red zone targets, he finished third in fantasy points per game.

With an explosive offense and improved chemistry between him and Tua Tagovailoa, I anticipate an explosion of red zone targets and touchdowns for Hill in Miami. Hill will finish as the best fantasy football wide receiver for the 2023 NFL season — mark my words.

The Easy TE Pick

Travis Kelce– Kansas City Chiefs

As much as I wanted to choose someone else, I couldn’t pick anyone other than Kelce. Sure, this might be a chalk play but it’s hard to bet against him. Last season Kelce averaged over 19 PPR points per game. T.J. Hockenson finished 2nd, averaging 13.3 points.

That gap difference is pretty amazing. Kelce  is the sort of player that you love when you have him on your roster and absolutely hate playing against.

Still not convinced? How about the sheer fact that he has missed just three games since 2014 and he’ll be catching passes from Patrick Mahomes? In my mind, this solidifies him as one of the best players in fantasy football. At this point, you sort of have to bet on him.

The Best Fantasy Football Players at QB for 2023

Josh Allen– Buffalo Bills

This comes down to skill and weapons, both of which Allen has plenty of right now. While Mahomes and Burrow may be slightly better passers, Allen is a superior athlete who can turn broken plays into touchdowns with his legs.

He has thrown for over 4,000 yards in three straight seasons and shows no signs of stopping. The newly acquired rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid should help open the field for Allen. This offense has the potential to be even more of a powerhouse than they already are. I fully expect Josh Allen to finish as the #1 QB in fantasy for the 2023 season. Allen is an easy pick for one of the best players for fantasy football in the 2023 season.
